Ohm-Labs’ KV-A series are precision portable high voltage dividers to measure up to 30 kV dc and 20 kV ac rms (50/60 Hz).
The KV dividers use precision resistors which are specially selected and matched for high voltage performance. They may be operated continuously up to full rated voltage without damage.
The KV-10A and KV-30A models are for precise dc and 50/60 Hz ac measurement.
A DC Impedance switch allows use with >10 G or 10 M dc input impedance meters. The AC output impedance is matched for a 1 megohm input impedance ac meter.
The KV-A dividers have a high voltage input at the rear of the divider for improved operator safety.
Leakage and corona effects have been minimized by careful internal design and layout.
All dividers are supplied with ISO 17025 accredited, traceable reports of calibration up to full rated voltage.
Special ratios or case styles can be supplied upon request.
Similar to the KV-A Dividers, models KV-5R and KV-10R are available for <0.01 % dc measurement. The KV-R models include an analog indicating meter. These models are replacements for Fluke 80E or Julie Research KV-R type dividers.
